MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M

@DanielsASJ Hmm... I'm christian. The cross is a man-made symbol, nowhere in the bible does it say that the cross (one proposed killing method of Jesus, not even actually the original word or concept for it in the scripture) is holy, and why should it be? I get that it's connected to christianity a lot nowadays, but that someone put a cross on their label is really not a big deal.

@MartinTheFirst @LadyGrace Please teach this young gentleman.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@DanielsASJ Me and Lady have talked a lot before Daniels.
DanielsASJ · 36-40, M
@MartinTheFirst It's a very subtle sign to mock Christians.

The same way, this monster energy drinks subtle sign was debunked by the lady.
@MartinTheFirst Yes, that's what Satan would have us believe but it is a campaign against God and Christians.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@DanielsASJ For the jägermeister, maybe the one making it is just christian? As for the monster, they're just trying to be cool and use a bunch of symbols.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@LadyGrace What is a campaign against God?
DanielsASJ · 36-40, M
@MartinTheFirst Watch the video. That's why I have marked it as THE BEST COMMENT. this video is just a minute long. You will understand what this monster company is about
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@DanielsASJ Can't you speak for yourself, sir? The video does not work for me.
@MartinTheFirst Read my reply to Daniel.
DanielsASJ · 36-40, M
@MartinTheFirst Sure. Actually the three Ts or Is in the sign of Monster drink represent Hebrew number 6, 3 times. Is it just a coincidence?
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@LadyGrace Monster energy drink is such an easy example to make though because it's not like they're trying to hide it, can you name another brand?
@MartinTheFirst This is not a Christian company at all. So why would they have a cross on the can? Here is the message: they are Anti-christ.
@MartinTheFirst
Of course they're not trying to hide it. They want to make slurs against Christ and Christians.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@LadyGrace okay.. so it's just monster energy?
@MartinTheFirst Satan tries to make it look so innocent, but look how subtly he makes fun of Christians and God.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@LadyGrace maybe that's why I never liked monster energy drink taste then, it disagreed with the christian in me 😂
@MartinTheFirst I do not support brands which overtly mock or denigrate Christ, Christianity and Christian doctrine. It's obvious the company sides with the world and not God.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@LadyGrace yeah, especially since red bull is the best
@MartinTheFirst
that someone put a cross on their label is really not a big deal.

It is a big deal to Christians. The cross sure was a big deal to Christ. It's also a big deal to me, I don't know about other Christians, but the cross is a powerful symbol of Jesus' horrible suffering and death, representing the atonement for the sins of humanity. It doesn't belong on the side of a can.

It also represents hope and redemption, as Jesus' death on the cross is seen as the foundation for the believer's faith. The cross is a reminder of the love and sacrifice of God, who sent his Son to die for the sins of the world. A way of acknowledging Jesus' crucifixion and the power of his sacrificial death. So no, I don't see the humor or cuteness in seeing the cross on a can of soda, energy drink, beer bottle or anything else. Jesus went out of his way to save those that he even knew would not accept his Plan of Salvation. That speaks of his eternal love for us and He proved it on the cross they put on a can of energy drink! I see it as being most irreverent to God and His agony on the cross, just to save some who think it to be no big deal.

While the Bible doesn't explicitly state the cross is "holy" in the way we might use that word today, it does highlight the significance of the crucifixion and the cross as a symbol of Jesus' great sacrifice and the Christian faith, emphasizing its role in atonement and redemption.

Philippians 2:6-8: This passage describes Jesus's humility and obedience, even to the point of death on a cross, highlighting the depth of his sacrifice.

1 Corinthians 1:18: This verse states that the message of the cross is "folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God," indicating the power and importance of the cross in the Christian faith.

1 Peter 2:24: This verse states that Jesus "himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness," emphasizing the role of the cross in atonement.

@LadyGrace It never originally highlighted a cross as a symbol, nor did his followers use the symbol, or the early christians. The rest of what you're saying, I can sympathize with, and it's an interesting point of view.
