I'll be honest with you. I do not like these hell, fire and brimstone preachers, who use scare tactics in an effort to "turn people to Christ".

They shouldn't be in the pulpit, preaching "doom". All that does is turn people away from Christ....believing the devil's lies, that Christ wants to throw people into hell, and nothing could be further from the truth. Jesus came to seek and save the lost from the condemnation that sin placed on us...not throw us into hell! Our blessed hope is in Jesus Christ and His resurrection, witnessed by over 500 people.

We're already aware that sin separates us from Christ, but it doesn't end there. The good news is that we can repent of our sins and ask Jesus to be our Savior.

One does not need to be yelled at or threatened to stay vigilant. Daily prayer, bible reading, gaining an understanding of what is read through study, church going, fellowship with other Christians, obedience to the Word, and because of people's great love for God, will keep one vigilant.

Jesus showed us how much He loves us, from the cross. He gave us the Good News of the Gospel, that by His grace and resurrection.... Our future is also full of HOPE and salvation for tomorrow! That we too, after death, shall rise to be in the presence of the Lord forever, if that is what we choose to do. He turns no one away!

Christ sends the message of the Good News of Salvation to show us there IS a way to escape hell. That HE is the answer.

That means ANY who wish to have salvation, are more than welcome to come to Jesus and be saved! Not one person has to suffer hell. Jesus said, "Come to Me and I will save your soul and that is a promise He will keep![/b]

Fire and Brimstones are the scare tactics just like what some Galatians would suggest population to keep up with the laws.

Instead Love the Lord in so much that you happily keep more than Laws. I read someone talking about Fear and Love today. Fear is opposite of Love. Love knows 'no fear'. Love gives rise to immense "faith and Trust". If one loves The Master, one will follow his preaching honestly to his very best. All the Apostles loved Jesus Christ who gave their lives for "The Word". That's True Love. It does not have Fear - Not even of Life. @Thinkerbell
