Since the time of Jesus ( some two thousand years ago) Why hasn't there been another prophet as profound as Jesus. Has the temptations and sins of man

not evolved.

@jshm2 I don't think Jesus hated anyone.

@jshm2 Spoken like a true racist. Project much?

@jshm2 read the parable of the good Samaritan and think about the commandment to 'love your neighbour'. Most Christians are failing at this and yet it's the second most important thing we can do as Christians.

@Lostpoet The Jesus character said that people had to hate others. He was a narcissistic hate-monger.

@Diotrephes Please give the chapter and verse where he said that. I think the sermon on the mount is the only thing in the Bible where Jesus actually said anything. The rest of the Bible was told by other writers sometimes hundreds of years after the crucifixion.

@jshm2 Those are Preachers not Prophets.

How about Luke 14:26 (CEB) =
“Whoever comes to me and doesn’t hate father and mother, spouse and children, and brothers and sisters—yes, even one’s own life—cannot be my disciple."

@Diotrephes "Whoever comes to me and hate not his father, ..."

Maybe you had the wrong translation.

@Lostpoet You have a choice of 52 versions; they all mean the same = https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=luke+14%3A26&version=NKJV

@Diotrephes Yeah, it says hate not.
