I hate to be the one that knows history, but he wasn't even in the top the in last hundred years. Hitler, Stalin, and Mao were all responsible for literally millions of deaths.
Don't misunderstand me, what he did was awful. Beyond awful. But in scale, it affected less than 1000 victims.

@LordShadowfire The group is Satan. What you really are trying to ask is Why is Satan a sub group of paganism? I would say that someone who's ignorant decided to do that.
