It wasn’t Jesus Christ or Paul of Tarsus who advocated misogyny..

Jesus regularly mixed, spoke to, ate with women who were rejected by the Pharisee led society that he was calling out! To repentance and a return to early Judaism, worship of Yahweh, the God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob. Women were seen as a balance in society, and their very necessary roles were focused on the fact that women made the family home. Men went out into a very harsh world to win an income, but women were very much an important part of this effort in an agricultural society.

The Pharisees were those who began to think that women were not suitable to engage in their religion because they were seen as unclean and sinners, ignoring all the evil sins men did but in secret so the rabbis were unaware. They were like those in the modern world that were like white washed tombs, filled with all kinds of corruption! They are happy to hide child abuse in all its evil forms, at the hands of priests, politicians and officials of various parts of the apparatus of the state.

Check Genesis 1 and 3, for the Creator’s original purpose of women in the society of men and of husbands. It needs thinking about.

If we only followed the path set out!!
Women are considered property in the Old Testament.
@Ximenajacoba Tell us where in the bible that women aren’t required to be submissive.

@BlueSkyKing Women are subject to their husband or father, from the point of protection, and the fact that God put as man’s head, the Christ, as man is the head of woman, and woman is of children. It doesn’t say DOMINANCE!
@Ximenajacoba

Wives must submit to their husbands in everything (as though they were gods).

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. - Ephesians 5:22-24

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.-Colossians 3:18

Teach the young women to be ... obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. - Titus 2:4-5

Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands. - 1 Peter 3:1
