During the incarnation, Jesus was temporarily “made lower than the angels” (Hebrews 2:9), which refers to Jesus’ status. The doctrine of the incarnation says that the second Person of the Trinity took on human flesh. Therefore, for all intents and purposes, Jesus was fully human and “made lower than the angels.” However, Jesus is fully divine, too. By taking on human nature, Jesus did not relinquish His divine nature—God cannot stop being God. How do we reconcile the fact that the second Person of the Trinity is fully divine yet fully human and by definition “lower than the angels”? The answer to that question can be found in Philippians 2:5-11. When the second Person of the Trinity took on human form, something amazing occurred. Christ “made himself nothing.” This phrase has generated more ink than almost any other phrase in the Bible. In essence, what it means is that Jesus voluntarily relinquished the prerogative of freely exercising His divine attributes and subjected Himself to the will of the Father while on earth.

Another thing to consider is the fact that subservience in role does not equate to subservience in essence. For example, consider an employer/employee relationship. The employer has the right to make demands of the employee, and the employee has the obligation to serve the employer. The roles clearly define a subservient relationship. However, both people are still human beings and share in the same human nature. There is no difference between the two as to their essence; they stand as equals. The fact that one is an employer and the other is an employee does nothing to alter the essential equality of these two individuals as human beings. The same can be said of the members of the Trinity. All three members (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) are essentially equal; i.e., they are all divine in nature. However, in the grand plan of redemption, they play certain roles, and these roles define authority and subservience. The Father commands the Son, and the Father and the Son command the Holy Spirit.

Therefore, the fact that the Son took on a human nature and made Himself subservient to the Father in no way denies the deity of the Son, nor does it diminish His essential equality with the Father. The “greatness” spoken of in this verse, then, relates to role, not to essence.

@Mcmarie90 Anthropomorphism....Anthropomorphism is the attribution of human traits, emotions, or intentions to non-human entities.[1] It is considered to be an innate tendency of human psychology.[2] Personification is the related attribution of human form and characteristics to abstract concepts such as nations, emotions, and natural forces, such as seasons and weather. Both have ancient roots as storytelling and artistic devices, and most cultures have traditional fables with anthropomorphized animals as characters. People have also routinely attributed human emotions and behavioral traits to wild as well as domesticated animals.

@Lionehaza Sounds like you just called billions of people's God and animal.
@Mcmarie90 Well said! 👍

@Mcmarie90 i am asking if the word trinity is in the bible and it may be conected with the ancient belief of antropomorphisim that GOD decends to earth in the form of human.YOU can find such kind of theosofy in ancient religion Budism hinduism,in greek mythology. The concept of trinity is in ancient egypt pyramid...I mean its ilogical for God to be human and scarificed for peopels sin.It was possible for him to make adam to stay in paradise forever by forgiving his sins while was in paradise.
If Mr A kills 1000 children and if the judge says i sacrificed my only son for your lose to thier mothers do you call this justice...it doesnt make a sense. The idea that jesus died for our sins gave people a chance to do everything, they can fornicate ,kill, homosexuality, naked, having sex with animals...killing thier mother, zen iesus had died for my sin...This created demon cracy people of the devil....they can do anything they can have sex with 30 girls before marraige and say jesus had died for my sin......with all respect to your stand..... Jesus was a prophet...He never claim devinity....bible has contradictions in it....i dont like to talk about religion but am studying different religions this days and i have found quranic verses that talks about jesus. There is chapter of Marry in the quaran but not in a bible. No one knows jesus morethan marry but marry has no chapter in the bible. It seems very interesting.I read it ........its very logical. Its logical in that it says that jesus was prophet sent by Allah God with all the mericles. Its says that jesus raise the dead to life and gave sight to the blind by the will of Allah.Just like the bible says that he can do nothing by his own rather by the will of God.So i began to read thier beliefs and its very clear easy for understanding ,straight forward....It talks about how God took him to the heavens and that they did not crucify him rather kill judia thinking that he is jesus.God gave the face of jesus to judha one his deciples who betrayed him and the pharacies crucified him.Not only jesus was reserected or taken to haven many melechezedeq...was also been taken by God.Not Only Jesus was born without male intervention...Adam and eve were created from a dirt....

@Lionehaza You say so many things are "illogical" that you have already closed your mind. And you make so many other arguments that you are losing the point of your original post. It sounds like you have a disbelief in the Christian faith, which is your choice, and it's not for me to save you.

You said you read the Bible (or at least you implied it) and then compared that to other ancient works, but anyone can read the Bible and even more people will take quotes out of context and use them to justify their own beliefs.

I thought about arguing each and every point with you, with detailed passages and explanations for each (and if you want, message me and I will) but I'm guessing neither of us will be changing the others mind.

@Mcmarie90 Jesus cant here you becouse he is flesh and blood...just right before he was taken to haven he asks for food and drink so that to afirm he was not dead and he was flesh and bone.Anything flesh and bone cant here a voce more than half kilometer. He was a prophet teaching people to worship one God which is his God. Every prophet has been send with a revilation from God.Everything has been writen before time started to count.Since God knows everything past/ future he writes everything every prophet was a word but not God.All prophets were born and God give them a word that has been writen by him before they were born.So can you say first God was a word the word was with him and the become flesh as Moses. So moses is God. NO NEVER....AND just becouse jesus was born without male intervention it doesnt mean he is especial. But Adam was born out of dirt and thats more especial.Jesus had a race....He is a jew according to a bible.
The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.Mathew 1.1 How many fathers did he have....He also called him self as son of man....bible calles angels and prophets as a son of God.but not literaly meaning as the real biological son of God...

@Lionehaza Not everything has to be in the Bible for it to be true. Read John 21:25. I dont believe in God because of the Bible. I believe in the Bible because of God.
@Lionehaza What exactly is your point?
You are clearly not a christian and now you try to attack our faith from the outside looking in.
Mcmarie90 · 31-35, F
@Random3838 For everyone who needed me to put the actual verse in instead of just giving you the source, here is the best one.

Matthew 28:19

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit . . .”

There's 19 other references in that link. I'm not writing out the rest of them.

Mcmarie90 · 31-35, F
@Lionehaza If your not going to listen to the hundreds of words of explanations we have given you, then you will never find what you are looking for. But good luck on your journey and know that no matter what, God is looking out for you and has given you a guardian angel to protect you.
Lionehaza · 31-35, M
@Mcmarie90 did you see the guardians because that is the problem you speak what you cant even see....
Mcmarie90 · 31-35, F
@Lionehaza Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe.
Random3838 · 36-40, M

CLEAR MISTAKES IN THE BIBLE
Kings 8:26
Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Athaliah the granddaughter of Omri, king of

Chronicles 22:2
Ahaziah was forty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Athaliah the granddaughter of Omri.
was Ahaziah 24 or 42 yearls old when he began to reign......?
Random3838 · 36-40, M
@Lionehaza both verses says 22 years old. Your copy and paste even proves that.
@Lionehaza only some translations of the latter have translated it with 42 years old but usually both verses say 22 years old
Lionehaza · 31-35, M
@Random3838 plsss go and check for yourself kings 8:26 and chronicles 22:2
Mcmarie90 · 31-35, F
@Lionehaza OMG guys, he found the error! The whole basis of our religion is a lie! Thank someone (but not God be cause lionehaza prove he doesn't exist).

This has been debated for centuries, your not the first person to find it, and the most likely conclusion was that it was either a translation error from the phrase "son of forty two years" or a scribal error with the way they wrote numbers.

I'm honestly tired of being right all the time, so I'm gonna go make better use of my time and start making my husband some dinner.
God bless, everyone!

@Lionehaza i did. I have my bible with me. Did you check? You didnt even copy and paste the wrong passage correctly.

BIBLE IS NOT PURE.ITS MIXED WITH FALSE MESSAGES
"The Parables of Jesus".

7. The Parable of the Weeds
Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared. 27“The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’ 28“‘An enemy did this,’ he replied. “The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’ 29“‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn’” (Matthew 13:24-30).

The farm is this world
Seeds are Gods word
Weeds are false words
