I doubt it. Meanwhile, I'll just keep on trying to follow his teachings.

Please be sure to let us know when you obey his teaching about engaging in self-mutilation to keep from sinning so that you won't go to hell.
Matthew 5:29-30 (CEB) = "29 And if your right eye causes you to fall into sin, tear it out and throw it away. It’s better that you lose a part of your body than that your whole body be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to fall into sin, chop it off and throw it away. It’s better that you lose a part of your body than that your whole body go into hell."

@Diotrephes Misquoting scripture is very malicious of you but typical, of the cynical atheist behavior. Jesus is simply stating if something will cause you to sin, remove yourself from the occasion. If you were gifted with discernment from the Holy Spirit you'd understand, but because your mind is darkened by the evil one you cannot see the light of the gospel. Prayer for you.

@Diotrephes I'm more concerned about his clear teachings about loving others, not judging, taking care of the poor, etc.

When you actually read the story, the Jesus character is a hypocrite. He never gave anyone anything of value and when he had the opportunity to do so he keep it for himself, saying that you will always have the poor. That pissed off his apostles and they kicked him to the curb, leading to his death.
The fairytale also says that you will judge angels. How many do you know? So, surely you can judge your fellow humans. After all, you know all about good and evil just as God does.
Is murder a sin?

@Diotrephes I disagree with everything you wrote, but I do not discuss religion here.

@Diotrephes if your age on your profile is actually accurate, you don't have much time to consider truth. I will pray for your conversion. Most Catholics/Christians understand what Jesus meant. You're choosing to cherrypick certain things as an excuse to fuel your unbelief which is understandable. Jesus created the universe and everything in it out of literal non-existence, why would it be hard to store away a celestial city in a special space in Heaven, for God’s people when He returns to judge the living and the dead? For those who believe, no proof is necessary. For those who don't believe, no proof is possible.

@Diotrephes Your 'intelligence' amounts to nothing before God because any intelligence you may have comes from Him in the first place. The gentiles should care because Jesus died for each and every one of them and for all, He suffered indescribable pains for their salvation and healing. Jesus didn't become man just for the sake of the jews.
