He was turned shiny white instead of just plain white. Nasty whites should just drop off the planet. I don't like nasty whites.
On a more serious note, I'm afraid that the author of your book was overthinking again. Yes, God's design was for Jesus to die on the cross but there wasn't a need for Judas to spiritually change anything about himself for Jesus's faith to become real. Judas, I'm afraid, stayed as much human as you and me. Not shiny yet

@revenant No, but I read reviews. That's my job afterall. Somehow I find that it's indeed more real for me as christian not to doubt anything major up to the early christian communities. And that's where the Anglican Church is at too. Trying to gather what the earliest creeds were, etc.
