What did Jesus look like after he died and came back ?..a ghost or what ?

I am reading a book : Judas and Jesus, 2 faces of a Single Revelation
It mentions in there that people did not recognise Jesus but does not go into details.

What did it take for Mary and the other apostles to recognize him?

Think hard because it wasn’t his initial physical appearance.

@Pfuzylogic The book does not go into any details at all that is why I am curious.

Think about how God created the universe. It is in Genesis. How did God create the light and dark?

@revenant
I will give you a clue because it is difficult.

@Pfuzylogic what ? the Word
revenant · F
@Pfuzylogic what is the Word though*😊

@revenant
It isn’t what the Word is but who the Word is. take a look at John chapter 1 in the New Testament. that chapter is all about the Word!

@Pfuzylogic I never really received any religion education and that is why I am asking daft questions you see. 🙂
I am not being sarcastic here at all by the way.

This is the very beginning of John 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome.
God spoke the Universe in existence in Genesis.
The time Jesus says “I am he” will bring immediate recognition of our God.
You do not need eyes to depend on to recognize the voice of Jesus.

@Pfuzylogic maybe it is the famous I AM
revenant · F
@Pfuzylogic Oh I AM HE..but he did not say it in English.

@revenant
There wasn’t anything in English in the Bible. I think the languages were Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek but even with languages on Pentecost when the cloves of flames (Holy Spirit) were above the apostles heads; they were able to speak all of the languages for those hearing!

@Pfuzylogic yes and that what makes it so mysterious and intriguing..to me anyway.
