What did Jesus look like after he died and came back ?..a ghost or what ?

I am reading a book : Judas and Jesus, 2 faces of a Single Revelation
It mentions in there that people did not recognise Jesus but does not go into details.

@revenant he opened their eyes to see, now we know in part but a time comes in which we will know as we are known

It was for his glory and their edification
