If The Rapture Will Happen After The Tribulation

Why would Jesus say this? Cause going through the tribulation can't be considered as an escape.

He was talking about the wrath of the end times.. His wrath will not be upon His people.. They will be protected from His wrath during those times... This does not mean we shall be protected from the persecution of the anti-christs..

When we read the description of all the end times troubles we then read the verse::

(Luke 21:28) "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."

So Christians will be seeing all the end times happenings that are included in the chapter Luke 21.. You can read verses 1 to 28 yourself to confirm what we shall be witnessing..

I also point you to the prophecy in the OT about the end times wrath of God upon the anti-christs::

(Psalms 91:2-12) "I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. {3} Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. {4} He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. {5} Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; {6} Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. {7} A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. {8} Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. {9} Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; {10} There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. {11} For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. {12} They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone."

Just as The LORD preserved Noah through the great flood so too will He preserve His End time Saints through His wrath..

@Adstar The book of revelation says that those who won't worship the beast will be beheaded. That doesn't look like escaping to me.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@Thandeka Thats persecution from the followers of the anti-christ.. Now wrath from God.. But some Christiasn will escape from that beheading... There will be those that are alive and remain at the time of the second coming of The LORD Jesus.. Rapture scriptures actually say this..

(1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: {17} Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

@Adstar It's clear the rapture and the second coming are two different events that will happen in different times.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@Thandeka I think it is clear that the rapture and the second coming will happen at the same time.. It will be happening at the last trumpet sounding..
Thandeka · 36-40, F
@Adstar It's really not that clear. The loud trumpet sounding could mean that the trumpet would be blown multiple times so the chosen know that it's time.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@Thandeka The scriptures that reveal the rapture state that it happens at the last trumpet sounding and we know that When Jesus return His coming will also feature a loud trumpet blast.. Therefore we cannot say that the rapture happens before the Day of the LORD's return..

(1 Corinthians 15:51-55) "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, {52} In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. {53} For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. {54} So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. {55} O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?"

(Matthew 24:29-31) "¶ Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: {30} And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. {31} And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."

The Last trumpet soundiong in the Book of Revelation is the 7th sounding it this scripture we read that the mystery that Paul spoke of in 1Corinthians will be revealed..

(Revelation 10:7) "But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets."

I know the pre-tribulation rapture ideology is an enticing doctrine because it offers people the belief that they can avoid persecution but the truth of scripture show that Jesus told us we would face tribulation in this world..

(John 16:33) "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

@Adstar The book of Revelation only talks about the saints being slain and not the church and the book of Psalms tells us who the saints are.

Psalms 148:14 And He has exalted the horn of His people, The praise of all His saints— Of the children of Israel, A people near to Him. Praise the Lord!

@Thandeka Every True Christian is a Saint...

@Adstar You're totally right. I went and thought deeply about that and realized how stupid I sounded 😄. Anyways remember Noah and the ark? God didn't leave him and his family scattered when he was planning to pour his wrath on the Earth. He gathered Noah and his family and shut them in according to scripture then went on with his plan. Would he leave us His Kids scattered all over the Earth while he pours out his wrath this time around?🥺🥺🥺

@Thandeka Yes indeed God protected Noah from His wrath... But Noah never left the earth.. He witnessed the great flood.. As the scriptures i posted before says.. He will send Angels to protect us from His wrath.. These Angels will even lift us up if we are about to strike our toe on a stone..

{11} For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. {12} They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone."

@Adstar Noah probably didn't see the flood. He probably heard it. There will be some serious global warming if we're not raptured many of God's children would suffer some would even die cause according to Revelations the stars would be falling from the sky. Whatever is keeping the sun from scorching the Earth would be removed and they'll be many fires and let's not forget water turning into blood. What about the third of the Earth that's gonna die. Remember it also says that no one will buy or sell without the mark of the beast. Many will be forced to take the mark of the beast or suffer hunger. Dying in my sleep looks way more appealing than this honestly.

@Thandeka Yes the end times will be horrendous But i believe God can and will protect His followers through these times... I don't think there will be many followers of Jesus during those last days because most of them will have already been executed by the followers of the anti-Christ and there is the huge percentage of people who think they are Christian who are actually not Christians.. I am sure much of the persecution of the followers of Christ will come from people who call themselves Christians.. We only have to look at the example of the catholic church who tortured and burned at the stake many followers of Christ in the inquisitions and there many wars against communities that tried to follow the Holy Bible..

(John 16:1-3) "These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. {2} They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. {3} And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me."

I believe that a central part of the end times deception will be the Anti-christ claiming to be the Messiah.. By doing lying signs and wonders (miracles ) He will deceive most religous people and many of these current atheist jerks who demand a sign will become the most religiously fanatical zealots the world has ever seen..

In any case true followers of Christ will not be subjected to His end times wrath.. They will be protected through it all..

@Adstar I'm already praying that God takes me before the tribulation period begins cause I've gone through my fair share of troubles. I don't need anything more to add to it 😭😭😭.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@Thandeka I have prayed to God to take me on more then a few occasions.. When you know you have eternity with a perfect Loving Father,, in a perfect existence,, desiring to get an early mark from this world is natural and you don't need to be suffering from end times tribulation.. This world is bad enough as it is now.. And in comparison to Gods eternal kingdom this world is as a toxic nuclear waste dump.. Our LORD Jesus said..

(John 12:25) "He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal."
Thandeka · 36-40, F
@Adstar But I don't love my life to begin with 😅.
