@4meAndyou I don't think it's selfish because the Lord told us that it's best for us that we forgive people because you know when you hold a grudge or hate someone, that affects your heart and everything else. And he did say if you don't forgive others, I will not forgive you.

And sometimes when evil cannot be defeated with prayer alone he hands us the weapons we need to Vanquish the evil in our lives. AKA when the devil saw me on one knee after the battle he thought that he had destroyed me until I said amen
