Essentially all of those in almost all major fields of study are driven by the delusion that mankind is going to create a better world and eventually

a perfect world or a utopia. Mankind will never create heaven on earth. Why can't this happen? Because man is inherently evil, sinful and inherently selfish. Even if we do eliminate money and everybody's "needs are satisfied" financially, and create the most technologically and medically advanced society one could imagine, without disease, mental conditions or even the need to work, man will continue to have his fallen sin nature and a corrupt heart that will still lead to evil and violence.

THE ONLY PERSON THAT WILL FIX THIS WORLD IS JESUS CHRIST AT HIS SECOND COMING AND THAT IS IT! MANKIND CANNOT AND WILL NOT GET EVERYONE ON THE SAME PAGE. Without trusting in Jesus Christ - the only one who never changes - you have NO hope or security. It is impossible to have true hope without Jesus Christ. Without Him and His foundation - The King James Bible, we just have the continually changing random whims of man and the never ending chaos of society. Without this standard, we have relativism and solopsism where anything goes or at least anything could go, at any time, for whatever reason.

The good news is that once you realize that Number 1. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23

2. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

3. "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

and do as Acts 16:30-31 says, "And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."

Once you believe on the only one who defeated death and hell and rose from the dead - The Lord Jesus Christ - (put all of your trust in Him and what He did for you on the cross to get you into Heaven) then you can one day be without your sin nature when He gives us glorified bodies and you too will be able to live in THE TRUE utopia and in true peace with The King forever.

Philippians 3:21 - Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

As you say, perfection is not possible upon this earth. Only Jesus Christ was perfect...the rest of us just have to keep working on it, and doing our best...trusting in God and His only begotten Son to raise us up on the last day.

Ignoring the wrong turns and detours and warning signs that didn't become warning signs until after someone's demise, I think we are all heading that way, dough we may not get there for quite a while.

All men based Utopia ideologies are doomed to create hell on earth... Communisim has done so repeatedly because it does not take into account the faultyness of people..

@Adstar Exactly. Political Idealists do not want to accept this fact, but history proves it and exactly what I am saying in this post. The issue really does boil down to how one views man and his nature. They (especially communistic types) view man as fundamentally good, on the path to self actualization and evolving into a higher consciousness or at least plastistic and maleable (all nurture, no nature or genetics) whereas the reality is that man is fundamentally sinful; there is a flaw in the human heart that is ultimately bent towards darkness, greed and all manner of wickedness. This is why the law of Moses was so strict, because it dealt with man as he actually is. Modern psychology does not deal with man as he is. Modern psychology deals with man in the same way the political revolutionaries deal with man, which, as we've already established, is an utter delusion, and is exactly why modern psychology is such a failure and proven to not be effective in any meaningful and lasting way.

Amen.. Yes you gave more detail to the actual problem of mankind.. But yeah it is the truth, those many run from the truth with as much haste as they can, into deceptions and delusions that end in greater tragedy..

Most of what we call modern psychology is just the prescribing of drugs that treat the symptoms of the condition but never heal the condition.. and many of those drugs have terrible side effects.. Turning some people into Zombie like automation..
God cant create a utopia either because he suffered a civil war in his own kingdom that had nothing to do with humanity. He is just incompetent.
