These days I usually watch it online. Our church broadcasts live on YouTube.

@Musicman I can do that too but it's more solemn when I'm inside the church.

@1PrivateHannah You are correct. Then after service we have coffee hour with goodies. It's nice to have a snack and socialize with people.

@Musicman I love your church! We don't have free coffee and goodies but there's a 7/11 nearby. ☕😁

Yes, every week.

@exexec good to know.

I believe Jesus is our loving God and creator and I believe he died in propitiation for my sin. I'm developing a relationship with him that's getting better. I care far more about that relationship and being genuine than I do about a set of "church rules" half of which I think are based on human tradition more than what the Bible says anyway.

@PatientlyWaiting25 true. Some church rules don't coincide anymore with the modern world. It became a tradition.
I was raised in a religious Jewish family and attended synagogue on Friday night and Saturday morning, plus Hebrew school Sunday morning and Tuesday afternoon. So I was there more days than I wasn't. I became an atheist at 14 and eventually stopped going.

Since then I have attended Christian, Muslim, and Native American ceremonies. I haven't attended any kind of religious services for around a decade. I find religion interesting as an academic subject, and have read the Bible, the Quran, the Tao Te Ching, and many commentaries and analysts, but have no interest in participating in any religious community or worship other than as an observer.

@LeopoldBloom I understant your feelings and opinions. My daughter said she is either agnostic or atheist saying that religions are just organized cults but sometimes she goes with me.
