@Musicman Yes people dream dreams which in itself is indicative of nothing in particular. The fact is that we are living in the millennial reign of Christ now. How then shall we live if not by the Spirit. As St Paul wrote "For no longer I but Christ that dwells within me".

Mostly future with some exceptions.
I am open to the one thousand year reign being a past event, a golden age of the church and RC Sproul did some good work tying the number of the beast to Nero.
Being Anglican I believe the apostles creed "He will come to judge the living and the dead"
Yhe rapture, one world government, etc did not come about until the 1800s.

@hippyjoe1955 The Jerusalem Bible is Catholic. What I like about the NRSV is that it was translated by a group consisting of Catholics, Protestants, and Jews.
You should read the Apocrypha, they’re great stories.
J.R.R. Tolkien translated the book of Jonah for the Jerusalem Bible, which is pretty cool.

@Lila15 I have read it. I don't need to read it again. Much like the Orthodox Bible that has even more stories.

@hippyjoe1955 Oh, OK, I thought you said you hadn’t read the Apocrypha. I guess I’m surprised that you prefer a Catholic translation, much of which wasn’t translated from the original languages, but from an earlier French translation.
