Sigh. This is what ignorance looks like.

This is what the secular world thinks Christians believe, what the Bible teaches. It’s sad.

[aEloach] Historically, all societies that have advanced have been based upon religions that serve as binding agents to keep the people unified. Consider such groups as the Aztecs, Incas, Mayans, Egyptians, Chinese, Asian Indians, Persians. Other groups which lacked a unifying religion simply existed and didn’t make any significant progress of any kind.

Within the past 100 years political doctrines have started to emerge as competitors to the religions. The most successful political doctrine so far has been communism although it is starting to fade. America is still under the control of the religious doctrine. There is no single political doctrine that is strong enough to replace the religious doctrine at this time. In fact, the way our political system is structured ensures that it is highly unlikely that a single political doctrine will be strong enough to replace the religious doctrines although more people are tossing religion every year.
