From a person - "Since Jesus paid in full for the sins of this world, As a respect to him, Christians should not commit sin."

I agree with that.

He gave it all for us
We need to give it all for him

Not only out of plain respect , but it also hurts Him. It’s similar feelings as in a, relationship...like if you loved your significant other...you gave them your kidney, a lung, bone marrow and half of your liver to save them....as long as that SO is healed and out of hospital she/he sleeps (cheats on you) with that cute nurse that did their IV in the hospital and dumps you.... wouldn’t you be hurt.... Thats why He compares the whole God/human relationship to a Groom and His bride.... to show how spiritually intimate it is. I once heard Gods voice in a light dream.... and He was extremely deeply disappointed in me.... It broke my heart. But I learned then that what I was doing was hurting Him. Then I realized that its more of a real father/child relationship....rather then just plain respect. People respect others and still cheat on them... I ve heard cheaters say “I love him/her.....but....”

The worst feeling in the world is realizing that Jesus is disappointed in you, you blew ten thousands chances He gave you, its all your fault...and you realized that He thought and expected you to do better...He had faith in you....actually. The bitterness in Hell is...feeling you let Him down....
@InHeaven I wish people would stop beating themselves up. I think people are far harder on themselves, than Jesus ever is or would be. Sometimes that devil tries to tell us that God's mad at us or whatever and that's not true. God doesn't hold grudges. He helps us when we're burdened and he is quick to forgive, when we mess up. He doesn't want us to feel inadequate. He loves us just as we are, even when we make mistakes. He's not a God that's sitting there waiting to beat us down every time we make a mistake. God would say to just get up and go on. That when we know better, we do better.
I think a better wording would have been, we should try not to sin against Him. If we say we love Him, then we should show it.

@LadyGrace That's better worded, but as always, you too are the source of my knowledge and wisdom.

Thank you Grace
@Johnconnor Nope. As your Christian sister in Christ, I can try to guide you, but it is Jesus that gives us wisdom.
Musicman · 61-69, M
That is definitely true. Sadly it is hard not to sin. ☹️
Musicman · 61-69, M
@LadyGrace Absolutely! We are truly blessed that God loves us and wants a relationship with us. I have to admit that some of the drivers out there definitely make it hard to love our neighbor.
@Musicman Agreed!! 🤣😂🤣
Johnconnor · 31-35, M
@Musicman Agreed.

what is commit sin spiritualy mean?
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
@InHeaven you're quite literally insane
InHeaven · F
Exactly @MartinTheFirst obviously you have no idea... that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist
InHeaven · F
Thank God, no@MartinTheFirst you just have no clue.
I think I see what you mean. But unfortunately we still sin until the day we die.
Pfuzylogic · M
Our relationship is with Jesus. We house the Holy Spirit and yet we don’t earn our salvation before or after.
Max312 · 26-30, M
Jesus died for his own sins .
Johnconnor · 31-35, M
@Traingut You too. Get off from here.
Max312 · 26-30, M
@Johnconnor Humanity is stupidity for killers .
@Max312 You don't read your Bible, do you , or do you have one? Because if you did, you would know that Jesus is without sin. So he didn't die for his own sins.🤦‍♀️🙄
Traingut · 41-45, M
Want to pay respect
pentacorn · F
it really shouldn't be a problem. Jesus forgives 70 x 7, as long as you atone
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
No one "should" commit sin, but Jesus did not die for our sins for us to quit sinning on our own, he died for us since we can't quit sinning on our own.
