Raised in a Catholic home

Despite all the clichés, there really is a universal goodness to this very premise. My parents were strict but fair, and it was only when I got to college that I looked into my own religion for myself. Yes, there's a lot to consider, with the historical record of the church and those princes and Popes in it!

I went through confirmation and everything when I was twelve and I kept up with attending reconciliation and Mass on Sunday, but I guess I changed as I got involved in being a teenager, all along the years until I became a wayward teenager!

Still, after a meander into more esoteric adventures I have come back to reading the more mystical things about aspects of being a Catholic. It's quite enlightening, no pun intended, how finding out these different things changed your outlook on the religion you grew up with. I went the whole Rhinemaiden Germanic thing, as I became an apothecary after becoming a herbalist.
