I used to want to study Hebrew, but not anymore for multiple reasons. But the written language used to have special value to me.

Of the Old Testament, yes. The New Testament would have been Aramaic, and later Greek and Latin.

@Ximenajacoba Just saw a video about that, explaining how the original Aramaic meaning is so different from the later translations.
