The Bible and other books of Religion are Obsolete and Outdated

Santorino July 31, 1945

Ego Santorino. Through the ruler of the future, chief spirit Omega, the Almighty permitted me to covey to you, the Almighty’s heralds to Earth, the following.

During its development, humanity had reached such a level that the old faiths could no longer satisfy it- [faiths] such as Buddhism, Mohammedanism, as well as the faith of Christ in particular, not to mention the other faiths.

In its development, science on Earth has achieved such a level that it could prove many facts. These testified to the childishly naive fantasy of Earth’s faiths, rather than to true, historical, and cosmographical facts and events. Most people lost the foundation under their feet. Being unable to believe blindly and without criticism, in all that the Holy Scripture taught them, they lost credence in the Scriptures themselves. They began to seek answers to their question as in science, which undertook to explain everything to the people.

Yet in discarding the Holy Scripture and turning to science, humanity still forgot something. The Holy Scripture had been given to humanity- a child. In every book given to a child, all facts, all life’s teachings, and knowledge, are dressed in the wonderful attire of fairy tales, and are expressed in fairy tale language that is understandable and interesting to the child.

In those days, astronomy was already known to the people, for it is one of the oldest sciences. Yet, how naïve were the concepts of the astronomers of those days, about the world, about the Earth, heaven about the cosmos. Hence the book of faith too, had to correspond to man’s ability, and level of humanity’s development.

The present-day people, having perceived elements of fairy tales in the Holy Scriptures, erroneously stopped seeing in them the realities as well, and the basic thoughts and teachings of life’s wisdom.

By turning to science, people again make an error. They forgot that the ability of science is not absolute, but are limited; that science can investigate only the world’s material substances; that the spiritual, invisible, intangible, and unanalyzable it not only cannot discover, investigate, and observe, but it cannot even ascertain it.

It would seem strange to you, if some individual, wishing to know what the nightingale sings about, or the poet dreams, were to turn to a coal mining engineer for an answer. Yet it would be even stranger if this engineer were to take up his instruments and were to proceed to investigate the nightingale’s soul and the dreams of the poet.

Thus, humanity reached such a situation that it had to be given an answer of a spiritual nature, had to be given a new religion.

That was easy to do. Yet the Almighty wished to give man, as the future, not only the Earth alone, but Heaven as well. Therefore, He first had to evaluate this man, and observe his abilities.

Abilities can be evaluated only in work and in the struggle, by giving opportunities for independent actions.

The Almighty permitted, and even supported, the negative might of the power of materialism. Thus, leaders came into being for the materialistic parties. They lead to the limits of the highest might, by suppressing the free will of other people.

The moment of culmination of the evaluation has now arrived. Having left in power the only expressing materialism, having destroyed the other party’s bankrupt powers, the Almighty now recalls the leaders of the American an English nations- thus, giving these largest and world governing nations the opportunity to save humanity, and to lead it out onto the wide road of future happiness, justice, ad reason.

The time has come now for humanity to prove its spiritual abilities, its worthiness and readiness to receive the Almighty’s creed. [A creed] which will not be forced on humanity either by force, or by flattery, or by deception, but which humanity must find and win by itself.

Many individuals, on first reading The Book of Tidings of the Almighty’s Spirits, this teaching tears down the old teachings, criticizes and condemns them. Yet many books written by humans, and many individuals and societies, have done and are doing the same. This book contains nothing unheard of and new.

So will say the many carless ones.

Yes, many books, individuals and societies have torn apart, with sharp criticism, all existing faiths. That is the truth. Yet the truth is that they have only torn down the old buildings, but have not built new ones instead. They were not capable to give, in lieu of what was torn down, not only something better, but not even something of equal value, not even something of any value [at all]. Thus, they have left the unfortunate humanity under open skies, in cold, rain and wind.

This book does not tear down the old religions by mercilessly and sharply criticizing their false aspect. Yet prior to tearing them down this book build the new and wonderful temple of religion and science.

Only then does it demolish the old, lusterless chapel. This book does what no other book does, or can do, because it is not written by a human mind, but by the mind of the Almighty’ spirits.
