The Authenticity Of The Bible -- (If you disagree, I don't mind, but please be respectful in your answers. Thank you.)

It matters not only what we believe, but why. The bible was inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Greek word being "theopneustos", meaning "God-breathed", inspired by God, due to the inspiration of God. God did not entrust His words to just any men, but to "holy men of old", to write down under the direction and inspiration of theHoly Spirit.

Man has tried to destroy His Word, burn it, deny it, mock it, ridicule it, yet it has survived all the way down through the ages, which in itself is a miracle, because while some papers may have been destroyed, God and His Word shall never pass away. So while we could dispute these things, let us not miss the main focus, which is how to get to heaven, because if we miss that important truth, we've missed everything. "For what shall it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, yet loses his own soul?" Mark 8:36

The bible is as up to date as tomorrow's newspaper. No other book of any kind, can tell our future with precise 100% accuracy, like the bible does. It was not coincidental.

Unlike mythology, the Bible contains an astounding number of fulfilled prophecies. Myths do not bother with prophecy, but fully one third of the Bible is prophecy. The Bible contains over 1,800 predictions concerning more than 700 separate subjects found in over 8,300 verses. The Old Testament contains more than 300 prophecies concerning Jesus Christ alone, many with amazing specificity. Numerous prophecies have already been fulfilled, and they have come to pass precisely as foretold. The mathematical odds of someone making this number of predictions and having every one of them come to pass are light-years beyond the realm of human possibility. These miraculous prophecies could only be accomplished with the supernatural guidance of Him who sees the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:9-10).

"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach "any other gospel" unto you, than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." Galatians 1:8

Proverbs 30:5-6, "Every Word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar."

Jesus sure went through a torturous death for nothing then, if the Bible is not real. However, Jesus is incapable of error. He is sinless. He said His words shall never pass away.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
