I Want To Read My Bible More
Whenever I read and finish a part, I am more and more excited to go on reading it.

1 John 2:KJVBut the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
the Amplified says it like this
AMPAs for you, the anointing [the special gift, the preparation] which you received from Him remains [permanently] in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But just as His anointing teaches you [giving you insight through the presence of the Holy Spirit] about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as His anointing has taught you, you must remain in Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him].
this was spoken over me many years ago ,He did not disappoint
Jeremiah 33:3 ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.
the more we study to show ourselves approved ,the more the Holy Spirit is willing to teach us ,but then as we are given new revelation ,we also need to walk in it . as Christ walked ,always seeking to do the will of the Father ,so should we .
Many will mock God in this generation ,but if they knew what Christs children knew they would get right while they have time ,they would have a peace the world can't understand ,and no worries about doing without as they would know the Lord meets all our needs when we put Him first in our loves ,and many times ,I have seen the impossible become possible .
He comforts us when the world is cold and mends the broken heart when we stray and find out the hard way the Lord always has our best interest at heart.
If our hearts intent is to know Him ,and to submit and serve Him .
His intent is we prosper ,not as the world see's prosperity ,but as He blesses us ,we can be a blessing to others .
The more we follow Him ,the less the world see's us and the more they see Him moving in us to do His bidding and and our service to our fellow man in His stead .
But be forewarned , darkness hates light ,and trials still come for the righteous being saved does not make us exempt from trials ,they are to strengthen us and teach us our faith will be rewarded .
but Faith is only a word until its tested .
satan does not mess with his ,he will not test them so they call out to God ,
so when tests come ,and they will if you seek to serve God .
just remember the teacher is always silent during a test ,but never far away should you get into trouble .and we have a promise ,in every temptation ,if we submit ourselves unto God, resist the devil ,he must flee .
Christ said "if you confess me before men ,I will confess you before my Father which is in heaven ",so
I pray you stay hungry for more of Gods Word .

I should say I do both. I read along as I listen. I get more out of it. I consult the Internet too if I have questions

That is very nice of you :) I read, undelrine and ask my questions. I also wrote to another Bible group about how I study. Maybe you can check that method.
