I Believe the Bible Is the Inspired Word of God

If its in the Bible, it's because God put it there for us to know. The Bible is the true word of God and none of it can be excluded. As a result, I am a Christian who tries to compare situations I encounter to what I read in scripture and allow scripture be my guide. I am far from expert at doing this, but I try, and with God's help, hope to do better and better.

I like the bit where the Bible tells us women can't teach! I pretend to be Christian and pull that every time a woman tries to tell me something and she can't argue about it because it's my religion and that trumps everything-even the law!

@CoxswainOtter Do you expect me to say "Oh my! I guess I was wrong." I don't know what your comment about to a circle refers to, but as for the bat, if you Hebrew word translated bird really means flying creature. It is not trying to identify creatures in scientific taxonomy. The passage is describing this that are God is telling the Hebrews not to eat, an the particular verse is receding to animals that fly.

A better argument for you would be to point out the differences between what science believes about the universe and its origins and what Scripture describes in Genesis.
