Christians arrested for reading the Bible in Hagia Sophia

This has not been Christian place of worship since 1453.
These guys could simply pray silently there.

I agree. The same principle should apply to everyone; Muslims, Christians, and followers of any other faith. If a place of worship belongs to a particular religion, visitors should respect its rules and purpose. Quiet personal reflection is one thing; conducting religious worship contrary to the rules of that place is another.

@Bleak At our Royal Weddings and Christmas concerts, a lot of secular poems have crept in. Yet, I don’t find that an issue, as a lot of hymns have secular themes.

@AdmiralPrune I do say Christian place of worship.

Again, I agree those guys were asking for trouble.

Personally , I would feel uncomfortable with people reading the Koran in a Christian church.
