My actual Bible is in storage, but I find it easier to look up scripture online these days. I prefer "Bible Gateway," and the KJV, but it doesn't matter what translation one uses, one must always look up the Biblical Hebrew words, or the Konine Greek words to truly understand what is being said.
The Bible, however, is neither the infallible word of God, nor the "inspired," word of God. It was written by men, who had an idea of what they wanted their God to be and do for them, just like every other ancient holy book. All ancient holy books, from all religions have some truth and have some wisdom that can be applied, and we should all apply good wisdom when it is heard or read.
