Does anyone else here prefer to study /worship/

Or fellowship virtually, especially in light of Covid?Where I have attended church in the past, they seem to feel it’s sinful not to attend regularly ,and in error if we who attended regularly don’t eventually become official Members of a church.
I know the Bible says that we are not to forsake coming together with the Bretheren.I don’t know that this means
we need to be in a church building to meet.
The Bible also says God does not dwell in a
building made with hands.God is omnipresent, and when two or more of us
are gathered in his name,He is there.I would
like to resume attending church in person at some point,as Covid improves.I don’t know that I need to join the church .They do not permit non members to partake in Lird’s supper unless they are a church member of a Protestant church. They are ok with people joining for Lord’s Supper if they belong to ANY Protestant church.I don’t feel this is a proper litmus test as to weather someone is saved , and therefore
eligible to join in Lords Supper.Any perspectives?

Tamberina, I know you personally do not know me. However, let me state this unequivocally. You do not need to attend a church. I will ruffle feathers when I say this but truthfully I don't care.
The Church as it is set up today especially being the protestant church is set up for failure and can actually do you harm in your walk with our father. You will see in the coming time, that is upon us the protestant church will fall. It has been set up as the profiters set up their church sin the past.
The Preachers(profiters) standing in front of a pulpit(a big no no) have their assembly come down before them take a knee and declare their allegiance to God. They charge money for the best seats. they proclaim themselves God inadvertently and make declarations as an anti-christ( there shall be many in that Day).
Focus on finding a personal relationship with God.
First try to answer for yourself,
Who is God?
What is God?
Jesus God?
this can take months to truly understand God alone. And once understood
then one should take the truths of Jesus and firmly live their life in faith. There is no other route
for the protestant than Faith. Faith is what Jesus came for and provided a way for. Jesus and God are one spirit, God did not die. They can't kill my God although I have lived the protestant culture I defy them to tell me my God Died.
May you find God and may your walk and search be blessed in Jesus name....
Amen.....David

I like to study (I’m a nerd ) esp new languages and literature (
And I like religions too
Specifically Im a Muslim. I’m in the process of trying to memorize it or at least many parts of it.
But I did read the Bible since I enjoy religion comparison.

I studied alot from age 5 -13, I know what the book says, is why I'm not into religion, but got the message within the book.

I'm fascinated with the Abrahamic religions. Not because I think they are remotely accurate, but because I want to know what about them inspires such extremist hate in some of their followers.
