1. Why not both? Feed their bodies and their minds? It doesn't take much to post a poster in a school.

2. Free lunch is only free for the kids, the money has to come from somewhere. Sounds like maybe some politicians need to get involved in appropriating money to school lunches.

3. We also need to find someone to prepare breakfast and lunches for the kids, and they need to be paid too. I remember my school had issues having enough staff for school lunches. They had to stagger lunches between grades because their wasn't enough staff and room for everyone.

@Mcmarie90 They should also know that our elected officials break every single one of them.the Ten Commandments are better understood on a FULL stomach!!!!Children are already taught the golden rule and the litany of socially acceptable and expected behaviors. A lot of which schools help impart and reinforce. you can teach the values without putting it into religious terms.A great Hindu Saint once said:
“Feed people first and then feed their souls.”That is one basic rule that still should be taught today everywhere including Christian churches.

@Khenpal1 I'm not saying we should starve the children; we should definitely feed them. I'm saying that choosing between the two is an invalid question. You don't have to pick one or the other. Posting the ten commandments won't make the food disappear.

@Mcmarie90 1. exactly. Pushing the dichotomy is a false dichotomy.
