I certainly thought it was God. Turns out, it's a talent I have for finding things in stores that I didn't know I needed. At the time, I was a Christian, and I was looking for a computer game that reflected what I was sure would be my faith for the rest of my life.
I went into the store, and immediately, in my mind, I heard precise directions to a clearance rack containing exactly the type of software I wanted.
The reason I say this is a talent of mine, and not some divine message, is that I've managed to do the same trick in New Age and occult shops, looking for things that have to do with the various deities with whom I work now.
