I Am a Christian and I Love Jesus

Something worth to think about, especially those ardent believers called "Atheists"

Two twins were talking in the womb:
Tell me, do you believe in life after birth?
Of course. After birth comes life. Perhaps we are here to prepare for what comes after birth.
Forget it! After birth there is nothing! From there, no one has returned! And besides, what would it look like?
I do not know exactly, but I feel that there are lights everywhere … Perhaps we walk on our own feet, and eat with our mouth.
This is utterly stupid! Walking isn’t possible! And how can we eat with that ridiculous mouth? Can’t you see the umbilical cord? And for that matter, think about it for a second: postnatal life isn’t possible because the cord is too short.
Yes, but I think there is definitely something, just in a different way than what we call life.
You’re stupid. Birth is the end of life and that’s it.
Look, I do not know exactly what will happen, but Mother will help us…
The Mother? Do you believe in the Mother? !
Yes.
Do not be ridiculous! Have you seen the Mother anywhere? Has anyone seen her at all?
No, but she is all around us. We live within her. And certainly, it is thanks to her that we exist.
Well, now leave me alone with this stupidity, right? I’ll believe in Mother when I see her.
You can not see her, but if you’re quiet, you can hear her song, you can feel her love. If you’re quiet, you can feel her caress and you will feel her protective hands.

@Dreammmer: You sure? You keep posting about us ...

@Pherick: You feel addressed? Be my guest and feel welcome to think about my posts. I personally appreciate good posts and perspectives that challenge me to think. Did you like the talk between the twins?

@Dreammmer: Its a lovely story, much like religion!

Actually, you did address me, did you forget already?

@Pherick: It cannot be a lovely story and it is not supposed to be one. Just like there is life outside the womb and just like there is an invisible mother, so there is life beyond death and an invisible God. That cannot be a lovely story to someone who denies the existence of God because he does not believe in a God.

@Dreammmer: That is just a story about two babies "talking" in the womb. Any other meaning you assign to it is on you. The different between that story and real life, is that if the babies had access to scientific tools, they could "see" the mother, detect her, study her. We cannot do any of that with gods.

Am I not allowed to like the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar" or "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" either?

@Pherick: I do not need tools to believe in Jesus Christ. That is amazing isnt it, that people believe and even risk their life even though they have no tools to prove what they are sure of. Do you use tools to prove the love of your wife? Do you use tools to prove that you can trust your doctor?
Why do you ask me questions when you already know the answer?
Pherick · 41-45, M
@Dreammmer: I am just hoping you would come back with something besides parroting "faith" over and over again.

Please stop equating love/trust/feelings with your belief in god. They are not the same. The difference being you can actually measure the way love/trust/feelings affect the human mind.

Why do you keep posting clickbait if you don't want Atheists to reply? Nevermind, I already know the answer. Enjoy.

@Pherick: I never claimed that feelings are the same as faith. But both have relevance and importance even though you cannot prove them by facts. There is a lot that matters in life that is not possible to prove by facts. You have never measured love or trust or hope, you just take it for granted and enjoy it - hopefully.
