Faith Without Works Is Dead

It takes both - many teach today that it's not your works but faith - which is an untruth. Your works or what you do whether you are obedient or disobedient. Jesus said even the demons believe but they were not obedient therefore their place isn't in heaven.

It is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

Then, once saved and as our relationship with Jesus deepens, transformation happens. That is the natural evidence that we are saved - the over flow of the holy spirit produces good works and the fruits of the spirit are evident to other people as we become more like Jesus.

@PatientlyWaiting25 Amen PaitientlyWaiting25.. Faith saves but the indwelling of the Holy Spirit moves us to do good works.. So those who are saved will do good works.. But those who say they believe and have NO good works are fakes and are not really saved...

We are saved by Faith and Faith alone... No one is saved by Works.. Anyone who thinks they are saved by works has rejected the actual Way of salvation ,which is by believing Jesus and trusting in the Atonement He secured on the cross that pays the penalty for sins..

SO

Either you don't understand what James said, what Paul has said, and what Jesus has said, that believe works are not required they reject the actual way to salvation that it takes BOTH faith and works.

Are you calling James a liar when he wrote James chapter 2, in chapter 4 and chapter 1?

Are you calling Paul a liar what he writes about our works in Ephesians 2:10 -- 1st Corinthians 3:13/15 -- 1st Timothy 6:17-18

Are you calling John a liar Revelation 14:13 -- 1 John 2: 3-6

Are you calling Jesus a liar when he said whoever DOES the will of my Father Matthew 7:21 -- KEEP my commandments, John 14:23-24 -

Believing saved by faith alone is saying one can just keep on sinning long as one have faith - Paul said God forbid Romans 6: 1-2.

I never stated that you stated anything.. So take it slow and read my post again...

As for the topic at hand.. I will say again that we are saved by Faith alone and not by works.. Any View that makes our works apart of our salvation is a misinterpretation of the Gospel Message..

But you said we are saved by faith alone and that contradicts some scriptures and you continue to believe we're saved by faith alone.
