Do you have the ultimate hope in Jesus Christ?
What is the hope that we have in Jesus Christ?
When the world talks about hope, they're talking about things in terms of uncertainty, like "I don't know what I am doing here, but I hope it goes well".
But the hope we have in Jesus is a little bit different.
Romans 8:18-25 - For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
This is a real hope. This is not just this pie in the sky idea of hope. This is a real, physical hope.
But there's another kind of hope and this is the hope that the world has and it's a false hope - the hope in man.
The occultist Manly P Hall talked about this false hope and one of the books he wrote is "The secret destiny of America" and in it he says, "The supreme human purpose is the perfection of man. This must come first, and when this end has been achieved all good things will inevitably follow."
In James 4:4 it talks about how friendship with the world is enmity with God - "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God."
Psalms 115 talks about idols being the works of human hands, Psalms 115:4 - Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
And this should really cause us to ask, okay, the supreme human purpose, what does that even mean? What does it mean to be human? How do we measure perfection. All of these ideas should really percolate in our minds as we look at quotes like this.
This supreme human purpose is humanism. Humanism is a dead end which places trust in sinful, fallen humanity. It places trust in humans who have a fundamental flaw in the heart. This supreme human purpose that man is trying to achieve can be summed up in the Luciferian philosophy.
I am going to quote a man by the name of William Cooper who was a researcher that was shot and killed just a couple of months after 9/11 attacks. He was a Christian and he saw a UFO when he was in the military and he went on a quest to find out what's really going on and he did a really good job of uncovering a lot of that.
But he said this and it summed up the Luciferian philosophy well:

Matthew 13:40 - As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
Are you going to put your trust in a world that is going to fade away? Why spend your time setting your affections on the things of a world that is all going to burn?
Or will you spend your time putting your hope in and worshipping that which is eternal - a living, risen savior - the Lord Jesus Christ - who is now beyond space, time and matter, as shown in the Holy Word of God which is also eternal: "The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." - Isaiah 40:8.
Folks, don't fall for the trap of trying to find and attain eternal life here in a fallen world that is eventually going to pass away. That is not humanity 2.0. That is, in reality, devolution. The real eden 2.0 and humanity 2.0 is salvation and eternal life through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Once you Believe that Christ died, was buried and rose from the grave as a payment for your sin, then you will truly live forever here on the new earth. The current earth will pass away. But there will be a new heaven and a new earth. The only way to be a part of that is through Jesus Christ. The only real hope is in Jesus Christ.
The real eden 2.0 through God's protocol for restoration is already at work; its blue print was laid out in the life, death and most importantly, the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Its effects have rippled across all of His creation.
