Same post says the Sun goes around the Earth::: This is not a verse that says the Sun goes around the Earth.
It refers to the Sun and Moon stopping, for ABOUT a whole day.
Were the Hebrews speaking of a 24-hour period of time or were they speaking of a 12-hour period of time for the usage of the word d a y. A day to them generally meant sun up to sun down.

The Hebrews used the word day in various ways.
They just had a few more hours. A day produces sunlight for about 12 hours, depending on the season, more sunlight in the summer than in the winter or fall, or even spring. They were expecting the moon to come up / out at a certain time and it didn't. What type of phenomenon could have happened from man's knowledge, man can't explain it.
The Creator can do whatever he wants to do with his creation, and the sun does spin TOO.
