Ragebait has no place in the Christian life.
Saw a ranty post on here from a proffesing Christian ranting and raving about the killing of Iryna Zarutska.
In the post he was eager to show the mugshot of Decarlos Brown, the man who killed her.
Ofcourse he filled the post with ranting rage bait "Shut up, you are not permitted to speak", etc pretending people aren't allowed to have a opinion. Yes I know what he is not saying and is eager to get and heart troll comments saying things along the lines of "The usual suspects" etc.
Friends, rage bait does not have a place in the Christian walk.
Did you notice what was missing? Yep, focusing all the attention on the killer and not stopping to pray for Iryna's family in these tragic circumstances.
But this is to be expected from sitting under preaching which just says "God is only love, God has no other attributes like justice" etc.
Focusing on God's sovereignty helps us with these events, God will bring what Decarlos is owed and any vengeance on him belongs to God, not ourselves.
