The truth will set you free.
The truth is inside you not in a church or a Bible that’s been twisted to keep you in fear.

@Achelois Proverbs 3:5-6
New International Version
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
New International Version
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

@Achelois People can be delusional, thou shall not bare false witness... In the bible we live by faith not by sight, because sometimes even our eyes can descieve us... New International Version
The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? New International Version
There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.

Douglas Carson in his book, A call to Spiritual Reformation, sees the Bible as a sort of jigsaw puzzle. Where not all the pieces are provided. Some pieces fit together well, others cannot be forced into slots they do not belong and you may be tempted to leave out because we cannot see where they fit in. So there will always be gaps. We must beware of eliminating parts, or forcing bits together and getting a warped forced picture. It is how God wants it to be. Who has known the mind of the Lord. p205-7.

@Achelois There are some elements of Gnostic teaching in your views, which is why I’m meditating on John’s first Epistle at the moment.
God is light and there is no darkness in him. We must turn to that light to have fellowship with him.
Elaine Pagels is the expert here. See her Gnostic Gospels. Bart D Ertmn Lost Christianities also makes some good points.
There is no special knowledge.
My advice to you would be join an Alpha Group sometime. I’d recommend a straight forward Baptist Church.
Try an Anglican Church which associated with Holy Trinity Brompton perhaps.
