Jerusalem is not identified as Babylon in the end times.. It is identifyied as sodom and Egypt..
(Revelation 11:8) "And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified."
This above verse is talking about the two end times witnesses who will be killed by the beast and their bodies will lay in the streets of Jerusalem for 3 days..

It seems it is a failure to understand what I wrote on your part.

@Charity Your oprning post put forward the information that some people considered Jerusalem to be Babylon.. I already knew people believed this because i have been involved in these kinds of discussions on internet forums for 20 years..
I strive to be precise and directed thats how one clearly communicates..
So be it.. But you deprive yourself of the blessings that come from good fellowship with experienced Christians..

Thank you, but I prefer to experience fellowship with Christians who can give their opinions, their beliefs, their teachings in an humble fashion.
Then you say you have spoken to people over 20 years on the subject, a humble response to this post, example: Yes I have spoken to Christians concerning their beliefs that Jerusalem is Babylon and I disagree with that. I think, or I believe or the Bible teaches or something to that effect, which is not making a direct statement of what one precise the believer of the post is.
I see why a lot of atheists I talk to speak negative on communications with Christians, even though the majority of them are negative with an extreme.
And if you read further you'll find someone actually said they think it's the US. They understood the post!
