City of Babylon End Times

There are different opinions on the location of the city of Babylon in the end times / current days. Some say Rome, some say Jerusalem, some say USA.

Jerusalem is not identified as Babylon in the end times.. It is identifyied as sodom and Egypt..

(Revelation 11:8) "And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified."

This above verse is talking about the two end times witnesses who will be killed by the beast and their bodies will lay in the streets of Jerusalem for 3 days..

Some believe Jerusalem is Babylon. It would be good if you could argue with them.

@Charity Just because Jerusalem is not ''Holy"" in the end times does not make it The end times babylon.. Rome is closer to Babylon.. But as we get closer to the end times i believe things will become more clear to Ones who are guided by the Holy Spirit...

Oh and in this world today the religion that is killing more Christians then any other is Islam... Rich cities in the persian gulf could be the end times Babylon.. People tend to try and find the best candidate in their times that kind of fits the description of Babylon..

I also would like to add.. The beast in the end times will turn on the harlot and burn her... So the harlot of babylon and the beast are not the same thing..

I gave at least three locations that SOME believe is Babylon at the point when the end of days is about to be initiated.

And I never said the Harlot and Babylon were the same!!!!

I actually made a post about the Harlot minutes apart from the post on Babylon.

And that's why I posted the post because people have different opinions on where in time Babylon is located I posted it for a conversation piece, not a you are wrong attitude.

I took it that you disagreed with my reply by once again posting a video in support of Jerusalem being Babylon..

Oh that was just me sharing Biblical knowledge on the matter.. Since i cannot read your mind i cannot know what you know so i offered that information in case you had not either read that verse or not remembered that verse..

You're reading way too much into my replies.. I just share what i want to share.. It has nothing to do with me judging the motivations and attitudes of the other person... You asked a question related to what is the end times babylon and i injected the thoughts that i have that eliminates Jerusalem in my opinion... You don't have to read anything more or less into my input..

Oh in religious discussions just because people disagree does not mean they hate each other.. There are plenty of non-core doctrines that Christians can disagree on that have no effect on ones eternal status with the LORD.. Topics like this one we are discussing here.. Ones POV as to what is the end times babylon will not disqualify them from salvation.. When it happens it will be as clear as day to those guided by His Holy Spirit..

It seems it is a failure to understand what I wrote on your part.

Your replies seem more demanding telling me my statement is in error than sharing. No I am not reading too much into it. Your words were precise and direct.
