Wednesday Bible Study Notes 23/07/25
A long and very busy week of job searching and everything that could be going wrong in life going wrong this week so delivering these notes later. If you'd have told me a couple years ago I'd have been unemployed and going down the post office for the gas metre topup.....
. We fret over various issues in our own lives *my hand goes up* and the world gets anxious about climate change, etc but there will be a day when Christ returns.
. It is clear on here some proffesing Christians clearly love politics more than they love Christ and a special note from Bible study for them- the white house, the houses of Parliament and other special landmarks will all be burnt up on Christ's return for the purified new earth- you didn't think they'd stand forever did you?
. The real pilgrimage in this life is our walk with Christ- it's not Jerusalem, it's not Lourdes, etc.
. A real testing point for me on this one- we must remember that God knows the details of our lives and how it will pan out- a piece of advice I should've remembered for this week during my anger, anxious dreams, etc.
. Another one I need to improve on- when trials come we must call on the Lord for grace and help.
