There is more water in the Earth's mantle in the rocks than there is in the oceans. Where God sent the water back to where he pulled it from. The Bible calls the area The fountains of the deep.

The Bible didn't say from the oceans or from the seas or rivers but from the fountains of the deep, separate source of water. Then we also know that fresh water has been available from inside the Earth since the dawning of man that's how most people before modern times got your water through wells, that too is a lot of water used over a thousands and thousands of years.

This is something else science and the Bible agrees with, yet the Hebrews knew it 4,000 over years ago. And there are those who will say well the term fountains of the deep don't prove a thing, oh but it does. They knew there was water deep within the Earth enough to flood. Scientifically Earth was a water world with no land visible, biblically the Earth was a water world and God caused dry land to appear, that's where most of that water went.

@LordShadowfire 1) I didn't say core I said mantle
2) I never said what my belief on the flood is. 3)My post is about The fountains of the deep and where SOME of the water came from and resided to. 4) funny how you are refuting evidence that science has found that says the Earth was once the water world and no dry land was visible. 5) the Earth would never recover from it and yet the Earth was once covered in water and there was no dry land, and it was billions of years ago. Oh please. 6) If the flood took place in the days of Noah and the ""entire lands"" of the earth was actually covered in water. All the seed from every plant that existed on the planet was already here, plants wouldn't have to start from scratch as it did a billion years ago. You know nothing of gardening in the longevity of seeds, which can pop up decades later. 7) drain??? I didn't say drain.
