Faith Without Works is Dead

[media=https://youtu.be/ZlK5I6-7Nis?si=IbvN36x5UDmoA_ok]

Maybe I'm misunderstanding some people but from what I've heard many people speak of over the years is faith alone saves you, that we're not saved by works. That's like saying because I have faith because I believe in Christ I am automatically forgiven and I can just do what I want. That's not what the Bible teaches even Christ said the devils believe.

We're not saved by works alone but we're not saved by faith alone either, it is a combination of both. As Paul said should we keep on sinning, God forbid. Jesus spoke of what he expects and that is to keep his commandments, and that is a part of our works.

We are saved by Faith alone.. We are not saved by works.. One must have faith that ones sins are forgiven by the work of Jesus on the cross.. Like the first Passover Lamb who's blood covered the doors of the Hebrews in Egypt saving them from the Angel of death that Passed Over the homes that had the blood of the Lamb.. So to does the Blood of the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world cover those who have faith in it from the eternal second death in the Lake of fire..

The statement in the Bible is that those who are saved will have/ do good works and if a person has no good works then that is a clear sign they are not saved and their profession is fake.. It does not mean that anyone is saved either fully or partially by their good works.. It's not a combination of both.. We are saved 100% by what Jesus died for us..

People who preach what you preach will one day cry LORD LORD and He will say i never knew you.. Take very close note of what these people put forward to Jesus in their vain attempt to justify their own place with Him in eternity..

(Matthew 7:22-23) "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? {23} And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
