Final judgment- Pay attention Christians! Jesus words!

The Sheep and the Goats
31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

This is one of my most favorite scriptures! I don't want to toot my own horn and get glory from men, because my true glory come's from the Lord Himself...But I believe that this scripture is so practical and real in my life....I was going through a rough time in life, I had very little food in my house, my husband was away and not taking care of our family... And I just cried out to Jesus because everything came tumbling down on me, and it was like my pastor was trying to take Jesus away from me! I felt like I was crying on Jesus's shoulder...When a Christian radio DJ said I don't know how I know this, then he hesitated then he said "Knock Knock" "Boo! Boo Who" Why are you crying? Kindof like Jesus knocking on the door here it is...Jesus states, "I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me." Then there was a real knock on my door....!!! A huge 6'7 Aboriginal man stood at my door saying "Hi I am a Christian and I am hungry may I come in?" I was wide eye'd and mystified but I let him in and cooked us up a steak and a can of brown beans! And I remembered the scripture you just posted.. He was just like letting Jesus Himself into my home and eating with me and after the Knock Knock joke and the holy Ghosts boo boo who?? Funny Holy Spirit lol! He put a smile on my face like a child!

While growing up in my parent's home there was this plaque on the wall and it read "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want". These words caused me so much confusion. I mean, I thought the Lord was good and everything we do is for the Lord, but I'm not supposed to "want the Lord"?

@morrgin we are not to give in to temptation, is what their verse means.

That Jesus character is the biggest hypocrite in all of the world's literature. That's why the apostles dumped him.

As he said in Matthew 6:25-34 (ERV) = 25 “So I tell you, don’t worry about the things you need to live—what you will eat, drink, or wear. Life is more important than food, and the body is more important than what you put on it. 26 Look at the birds. They don’t plant, harvest, or save food in barns, but your heavenly Father feeds them. Don’t you know you are worth much more than they are? 27 You cannot add any time to your life by worrying about it.

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? Look at the wildflowers in the field. See how they grow. They don’t work or make clothes for themselves. 29 But I tell you that even Solomon, the great and rich king, was not dressed as beautifully as one of these flowers. 30 If God makes what grows in the field so beautiful, what do you think he will do for you? It’s just grass—one day it’s alive, and the next day someone throws it into a fire. But God cares enough to make it beautiful. Surely he will do much more for you. Your faith is so small!

31 “Don’t worry and say, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ 32 That’s what those people who don’t know God are always thinking about. Don’t worry, because your Father in heaven knows that you need all these things."

Matthew 10:5-10 (ERV) ="5 Jesus sent the twelve men out with these instructions: “Don’t go to the non-Jewish people. And don’t go into any town where the Samaritans live. 6 But go to the people of Israel. They are like sheep that are lost. 7 When you go, tell them this: ‘God’s kingdom is now very near.[a]’ 8 Heal the sick. Bring the dead back to life. Heal the people who have leprosy. And force demons out of people. I give you these powers freely, so help others freely. 9 Don’t carry any money with you—gold or silver or copper. 10 Don’t carry a bag. Take only the clothes and sandals you are wearing. And don’t take a walking stick. A worker should be given what he needs."

So, if a person doesn' have anything, why is God so stingy?

@Carazaa The fairytale says that you shouldn't help sinners. So, the Matthew passage is saying that you will get punished for using your judgment.

@saintsong
I believe that those who are chosen, have chosen carefully to be lead near to the Good Shepherd our God! And they Love Him Completely!

Well, the fairytale says that God chose the ones who will believe in him before they were born, and that if you are not in that group, you won't believe in him. So, as an individual, whether you believe or not, is not your decision.

@Diotrephes To not have faith is definitely self-mutilation. Repent and have faith so you will be blessed. 🙂

Matthew 15:24 (TLB) ="24 Then he said to the woman, “I was sent to help the Jews—the lost sheep of Israel—not the Gentiles.”"

Romans 8:28-30 (ERV) = "28 We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him. These are the people God chose, because that was his plan. 29 God knew them before he made the world. And he decided that they would be like his Son. Then Jesus would be the firstborn of many brothers and sisters. 30 God planned for them to be like his Son. He chose them and made them right with him. And after he made them right, he gave them his glory."

1 Corinthians 1:21 (CEV) = "God was wise and decided not to let the people of this world use their wisdom to learn about him. Instead, God chose to save only those who believe the foolish message we preach."
