A highly reccomended Christian film.
'Until the last promise'- it is about a senior pastor who gets early dementia.
There are beautiful parts of common grace- he gets to spend time with his family at Christmas (but in a vegetative state) before he passes and one of his daughter who was a runaway drug addict goes to rehab and gets reconciled to her children.
It is a moving reminder that until the last day- there will be suffering and pain but the great promise keeps the family comforted- because their dad knew Christ they will one day see their dad in heaven- dementia free and in perfected form- the suffering of this life but a distant memory.
It is impossible to be a Christian and not be moved by this family- perhaps a family film night, church family film night or you can enjoy it to yourself!
And yes it has Kevin Sorbo in it- he tends to be in solid Christian movies.
