Christian teaching on the question of sexuality.

In a culture that is deeply confused about human sexuality, it is time to examine the question of right relationship. The beauty and coherence of divine order is our light in the face of an aggressive and all-consuming pagan and secular worldview.

Well, you see it as "confused". Personally I see little confusion in the gay couples that I know personally.

Possibly, yes, in gender identity. This comes from freedom - at last - from being dictated to by those who themselves have been dictated to by a Book or a Church, and a society based loosely upon it. Freedom is dangerous, of course it is.

Confusion will always accompany freedom. That is the way of it. The answer is not, in my opinion, to try to reconstruct human relationships based upon any book written thousands of years ago, however much we might admire some of its verses.

Forward, not back.

What made you bring up gay couples and insinuate I see confusion there? And what has gay relationship anything to do with human sexuality of the kind under discussion?

If you see no confusion in your relationship, that is all that matters even if you are hung on the cross and crucified by those who are confused.

@sree251 You said:- "In a culture that is deeply confused about human sexuality, it is time to examine the question of right relationship." (And subsequently to speak of "divine order" with implied allegiance to)

It is a quite natural response that I made.

But again, I have no wish to get into any discussion with you.

I will NOT respond again.

Be that as it may, you have already made valuable contribution to this thread. You pointed to an obvious controversy that has caused unhappiness and conflict in society, both in the conservative east, as well as, in the permissive west. More importantly, is the the conflict within, the confusion of self loathing that won't go away even after receiving dispensation from the Pope.
