@Fieldmaster it's not an interpretation really, it is biblically confirmed throughout scripture. If you're wanting proof of God, he already proved himself as being God when Jesus came to Earth and performed miracles and died and rose again after he was nailed to the cross. Since he is no longer here in person and has completed his mission to show mankind that we are all in the same spiritual boat, in need of a Savior in order to get to heaven, he does not need to prove himself again. That is why by faith we can receive him today, and by Grace we are saved. The proof of God now is in the experience of the transformation that takes place once we invite Jesus into our hearts and lives as Savior.
As you know, many claim that there are many gods out there. But it was only Jesus that loved us enough to die on the cross to pay for our sins so that whosoever comes to him shall not perish but have everlasting life. God the Father sent him to be Savior of the world, and no other. It is not up to man to change that. Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life and no man can come to my father but by me. All that believed that shall be saved. Jesus didn't just say he loves us, he proved it on the cross. Scripture confirms that Jesus is our only mediator between God and man. All the other gods that people have tried to worship, you will notice, our man-made and therefore cannot see, speak, nor hear prayers. That would be like I would go to the store and buy a doll and then start worshiping it. God said not to do that but to rely on him alone. He does answer prayers. I have had many answered by him even saving my daughter's life. Jesus said do not worship idols.
