The Scripture is spot on.

Why not portray Islam in a similar fashion. They never will, because of the backlash.

This truly is blasphemous and a mockery of Christ and the Christian faith.

By the way the they are removing all the videos of this from the Olympics YouTube channel, because of the outrage.
TheWildEcho · 61-69, M
@OverTheHill yes youre 100%right, glad theyre removing it
@OverTheHill In other words; "They're making fun of our make believe thing in the sky, but not theirs" I thought christianity was about accepting people of other beliefs and indeed, no beliefs at all.
TexasDude · 31-35, M
@autumngirl27 It's about loving them, not necessarily accepting them. Or at least not accepting everything about them. God calls us all to high standards. He is also the only way to Heaven so we are to share that good news
@TheWildEcho If they're removing it, it's censorship.

@TexasDude If that is the "standard" set by the "god" of the bible, it's not surprising increasing numbers around the world are rejecting that "standard".
@autumngirl27 My post on this:

@OverTheHill You not familiar with Charlie Hebdo?
@autumngirl27 “They” aren’t removing it:

That’s just one - there are any other versions on YouTube.

Fortunately, most people ignore the Christofascists, especially in France!
@OverTheHill Blasphemy does not exist in France. And hasn’t for a few hundred years.

Even if it did, this isn’t blasphemy (which is an absurd concept anyway).
TexasDude · 31-35, M
@Adeptlinguist Blasphemy is not an absurd concept. Mocking or disrespecting God is rude, and frankly dangerous. He is the Ultimate and Holy Judge after all
@TexasDude Your fiction is no more precious than any other.

Do you dare mock my pink rabbit, creator of all things?
TexasDude · 31-35, M
@Adeptlinguist Prove it's fiction. Actually prove that.

I haven't mocked anything in these words and I don't choose to now
@TexasDude No. The burden of proof is on you. You claim the existence of a supernatural being.
TexasDude · 31-35, M
@Adeptlinguist No. Don't do that. You claimed the Bible is fictional. Give your evidence.
@TexasDude For a start, it claims the value of pi is 3. That is wrong.
@TexasDude Snakes don’t talk. All global fauna can’t fit on a boat. People don’t resurrect. Or turn into salt.
@Adeptlinguist If you believe that stuff is true, consult a mental health professional.
TexasDude · 31-35, M
@Adeptlinguist You can prove beyond doubt that isolated miracles have NEVER happened? The Bible doesn't say those things are common but if God is real, He would be more than capable of overriding nature to create a miracle.

I suggest the writings or videos of Lee Strobel or J. Warner Wallace.
@TexasDude Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.

If you don’t accept that, prove my pink rabbit doesn’t exist. It is written. It nibbles.
@Adeptlinguist I have a bottle of water in front of me. No sign of it turning into wine any time....ever!
@autumngirl27 @autumngirl27 PROVE it can’t!
@Adeptlinguist I've repeatedly shouted into the top of the bottle "I want wine" and it refuses to change.
TexasDude · 31-35, M
@autumngirl27 You aren't God. Of course it's not turning to wine.
