Sermon Notes
An amazing, convicting sermon- I initially couldn't get myself to write it today, but now sat at Greggs with a coffee I will.
1. If we want Christ's eternal glory we will share in his disgrace- noone knows this better than our persecuted brothers and sisters in places such as North Korea and the Middle East- we need to learn from them what they suffer for the gospel!
2. Are we ashamed of him- talking about him, etc. Not the attitude to have, as he isn't ashamed of us!
3. You will see people living well, having insta-perfect lives but if they don't have Christ and die without him they will be cursing and despairing throughout the eternal ages- "why didn't we listen to the people at X church?" "Why did we laugh at that preacher?"
4. Your entire eternity depends on a question Jesus asked- "Who do you say I AM?"
5. Many in the Hosanna crowd had an incorrect knowledge of Jesus.
Please, churches like the one I attend are so important to our growth, you must make sure your church is a bible based one.
