I decided to go back to head covering full time. Because it made me feel closer to God which helps me resist temptation to do unGodly things. Because I am constantly aware that I am set apart for God. It's not everyone's conviction and that's fine, it just helps me. I've added a pic but my face is blotted out for modesty.
@sree251 yes similar but it's based on a scripture in the Bible. Some women cover their hair fully like Muslim ladies. However some cover partly. Some cover full time others just when they pray or prophesy. It is really dependent on personal conviction. For example Jewish ladies only cover after marriage and Catholic ladies cover in church. I am choosing to cover full time and partly. My ponytail can be seen at the back of my head. Plus sometimes I wear a head covering that just covers the top of my head. Or in winter just a wooly hat.
@RubiesandButterflies Head covering is an affirming act. Men wear hats. I wear a hat when I go out. My grandma was a Catholic. She would put a veil over her head when she go into the church. It's quite transforming to the psyche.
