About the "Holy Rosary" prayer

This is the most powerful Christian prayer that will connect you to the light,
Those who do it every day will achieve peace and tranquility in the heart and soul, will distance themselves from dark beings and evil people and things in life, will not have bad dreams but can join higher light worlds at night.
With each part of the rosary, you send light into your life and soul, yourself and the people you know and have around you, you also cleanse your soul like when you visit the confessional.
....
For the greatest defense against darkness in life and the spiritual realm, and to achieve complete peace of mind and soul, do all 4 parts of the Holy Rosary, the Divine Mercy chaplet, and read the Biblical Stations of the Cross every day.

Matthew 6:7 — The New King James Version (NKJV)
7 And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.

Matthew 6:7 — New Century Version (NCV)
7 “And when you pray, don’t be like those people who don’t know God. They continue saying things that mean nothing, thinking that God will hear them because of their many words.

When I think of the rosery I think of these scriptures....Just my opinion...I could be wrong.
If it works for some people, good for them. My favorite admonition about God is “God helps those who help themselves” —so I try to avoid hoping and engage in doing.
Why do you need an accessory to connect with an all-seeing, all-powerfu "god"?

Can't it cope without the beads?
@Adeptlinguist People have always interwoven numerology with other beliefs. I don't see it, but I also am not Catholic, though I have a copy of the revised catechism of the Roman church from a few years back, and I am not unfamiliar with early Christian thought.
@SomeMichGuy It really puzzles me. On the one hand, "god" is all-powerful, all-knowing and, allegedly, "loving".

On the other, it insists on a specific number of ritualistic words in order to be kept satisfied.
@Adeptlinguist

No idea. Not part of that.

Luther revolted in part because of the Catholic appeal to "tradition" as a valid source of theology, practice, etc. In referring to the veneration of Mary, the footnotes in the catechism I have refer to tradition.

Jesus teaches that forgiveness is free, but actual contrition is a part of it (though I would say actual desire for a relationship with God). There are a lot of extra-Biblical elements in certain places.

The rosary is Catholic not Christian. The true Christian prayer is often referred to as the Lord's Prayer.
As positive as this is, which is Christian, it's also rather superstitious, which is not Christian
