Another Great Midweek Bible Study

We studied Psalm 16 and in our groups discussed:

1. Why did Jesus resurrect?
2. How does the resurrection encourage us?

Great teaching and discussion in our groups- as usual the pastor was great in encouraging us to spread the gospel.

I mention this as my wife made it back in time from work to attend and it was great for her to meet everyone and she found it very encouraging too.

A great thing about the pastor is also how good he is at putting things in perspective- about when we die or Christ returns, how overwhelming it will be being in the presence of God- and how overwhelming it is thinking about it!

Just the other day, I was looking at a picture of Jesus, thinking about the second coming of Christ. I was also thinking about the scripture verse in Revelation where it is mentioned that he will not come in humility but as a prince who will deliver justice, (and judgment too I suppose) I just get the feeling that people are given enough of a chance to conform, and possibly he has a reason for the stance.)

But my journey has taught me that some folks are bitter, and lost, and need help, but truth be told I think he kinda knows (my thoughts) But he also knows that some people are making dumb choices, and making life harder for others too. Hence, the judgment stance. He is so wise, and his eyes tell a story, Christianity is a beautiful religion, I know it couldn't be, the epitome of rules, like back in school. Yes, I'm talking about Jesus, sorry if I got carried away, I was talking about my spiritual journey.

Some people believe that the new world to come will be so cool. People will actually be doing most things the same like pursuing a passion/study without money as the root cause, or sexuality to spoil things. I learned this from a video I watched on YT when I was doing a little faith-based research. Its a topic tht has always had me curious. I guess its gonna be a good for the strivers.

Dont downplay this, I PRAYED FOR THAT!
@Matt85 Hey, thanks for that! She was so encouraged by it!

When I say the bible study is Christ centred, I mean it!
