Many "christians " will have the door shut, like these 5 virgins that Jesus talked about. They were not watching and waiting for Jesus!

The Parable of the Ten Virgins [big]MATTHEW 25[/big]
“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’

7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’

9 “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.

11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’

12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

13 “[big]Therefore keep watch,[/big] because you do not know the day or the hour.

Sometimes people do publish the doctrine adding their own words. Once saved by Grace, we can never be unsaved. Though, if we are good in our lives, we will get rewarded for that. But there is a difference between saved and unsaved. Unsaved can be saved but saved ones can't be unsaved. For they are saved and their soul is slowly and steadily converted by the Holy Ghost. Paul has explained all of it so beautifully. I guess you should read Paul.

@TheOrionbeltseeker Yes, When God changes us we are a new creature. 🙏
@Carazaa and that's what I've been saying all along and you rebuke me for. Works do not save us and salvation has nothing to do with our performance. Ephesians is clear on that.
@TheOrionbeltseeker well I think the mix up between Carraza and I, is that yes, she rightly believes that we can be saved but she doesn't believe in the security of the believer in Christ. If I'm wrong on that then I hope she will amicably correct me. Another distinction between her and I, is that she believes one can be saved by good works. Ephesians speaks contrary to that.
