They had the freedom to choose not the freedom from consequences.

Every day, we each have the freedom to choose to buy items or not - but we still have to face the consequences of our actions in the event that we are caught stealing.

Same with the vaccines. You're free to choose if you wanted to be vaccinated - but you're not free to go infecting people who have reduced immunity with Covid19. If you didn't want to lose your job and worked with people who were vulnerable, you were told that you were vaccinated or the consequence was that you lost your job.

Why should you have the freedom to go infecting my (at the time) Stage 4 cancer afflicted mother with Covid19 - when her only crime was to need help with basic household tasks, just because you chose not to be vaccinated???

I'd say that it went much better than you killing her because you were too paranoid about chips in the vaccine to join the queue with those of us who cared about more than just ourselves during the pandemic and went out working through the worst of it, given the fact that there would have been no hospital staff or ambulance drivers had we all just refused to get the vaccine "because I don't want no chips in me".

@HootyTheNightOwl they literally let COVID infected nurses come in to work, while keeping those that hadn't had the vaccine at home despite whether or not they had natural immunity

But I get you're emotionally triggered by the issue, so I'll leave it there
